Stay at Malton Grange Lodge Park with Northern Holiday Lodges
Malton Grange Lodge Park is a prestigious park with a five-star rating, perfect for couples, friends or families looking for a self-catering holiday. Our stunning boutique park is located three miles outside the market town of Malton, ‘food capital of Yorkshire’, and offers holidaymakers the chance to relax in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside.
We have a range of luxury lodges available to hire throughout the year. Each lodge has its own unique specification with private decking and deluxe private hot tub. Internally each lodge is beautifully presented with all the ‘mod-cons’ you would expect from a five-star park.
The historic market town of Malton is less than a ten minute drive from the park. It is known as Yorkshire’s food capital because of its extensive range of cafes and restaurants, as well as a renowned monthly Malton Food Festival. During your stay at Malton Grange it is well worth visiting the food festival and enjoying more than 35 food and drink stalls with live music, chef demos, and delicious street food. The town is also home to acclaimed food producers including a gelato maker, coffee roastery and gin distillery. The collection of local shops, supermarkets and other amenities also make the town convenient for those holidaying nearby.
Situated within three miles of the park you have Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo which combines an extensive theme park experience with Yorkshire's favourite zoo, plus Castle Howard, built for the 3rd Earl of Carlisle and taking over 100 years to complete. Tours of this magnificent house are available 7 days a week and with trails and adventure playgrounds as well as events and exhibitions throughout the year, there’s literally something for all the family!
Twenty-miles from the park is the city of York. It provides a perfect day out for those holidaying at Malton Grange with its extensive range of things to see and do, and family-fun activities. The city is steeped in history which can be explored through walking, bus and boat tours, and for the brave there are also ghost tours available! The impact of the Vikings is an important part of York’s history and this can be discovered through visiting the JORVIK Viking Centre which has fascinating and interesting exhibits. York Art Gallery is also well worth a visit with its collection from famous artists such as Hockney and Lowery. Furthermore, York is an ideal shopping hub with its large collection of local stylish retailers as well as all the loved High Street names.
